A device to image the inner layer of the eye that is called the endothelium. This examination is used especially when a degenerative disease is suspected and before eye operations.
A biometric measurement where the curvature of the cornea and the length of the eye are measured and the values are used to calculate the power of the intraocular lens (IOL) for a cataract or presbyopic lens surgery.
Photographs of the fundus of the eye are used to diagnose and check up under differing health conditions. For example the patient suffers from diabetes or age related macular degeneration. Also changes in the retina can be analysed.
Topographic examination gives us the shape and thickness of the cornea at various points. It is used with every patient to be treated with a laser and when suspecting a disease of cornea.
In addition to excimer laser to treat refractive errors Sol Eyes has an Argon laser to treat, for example, changes due to diabetes or degenerative holes or ruptures of retina. This laser can also be used to treat certain types of glaucoma.
YAG-laser is used to treat a possible secondary cataract after an operation. The same laser can be used to during certain kinds of glaucoma treatments.
